THE BAND
Singer/songwriter Darrin Lane, veteran drummer Mark Calis, bass player Mark "The Electric Horseman" Steiger and lead guitar player Darin Muller have joined forces to form this hard hitting Country/rock power trio. With they're years of combined experience, meaningful lyrics, and memorable "stick in your head" songs, they are sure to entertain crowds from small to large with the same enthusiasm and quality performance every single time they hit the stage.
DARRIN LANE
Born and raised in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, 34-year-old Darrin Lane Schwartz has fronted several rock bands but growing up listening to acts such Elvis, Alabama, and Garth Brooks insures he is no stranger to country music. Darrin started writing music at the age of 15 and formed his first band FuZE in 1998.
After a short stint with Saskatoon rock band Sevenless in 2001, Darrin went home and took a hiatus from music. After several attempts to find himself and battling inner demons Darrin hit rock bottom and went M.I.A., drove to Calgary and found himself living in his truck under stairwells and finally at the Mustard Seed homeless shelter. This is where, strangely enough, he found his music once again. One of the volunteers sold him a guitar and he performed for the people at the shelter and busked on the streets of Calgary. After a short struggle Darrin was able to find employment and a home and eventually meet his wife. Now the father of 2 kids and 3 step kids, Darrin wants to use his story and passion for music to inspire and help others.
Mark Calis has been playing drums for over 30 years. Teaching the art of drumming to aspiring young drummers has been his job for almost 4 years. Mark lives to play. "It takes stamina, strength, and dedication to play the drums, something I will do forever!"
Behind the drums Mark is focused and skilled and the chemistry on stage with his band mates is absolutley mind blowing...Mark is a well oiled drumming machine!!

MARK STEIGER
Photographer, goldsmith, musician, avid cyclist, truck driver - Mark Steiger is the most interesting man in the world. The newest member of Darrin Lane uses his one of a kind charm and personality to form a unique presence on and off the stage. Veteran of local bands such as The Undead Drifters, Crimson Black, James and the Shades, and the Haunted Shore, Mark suddenly found himself without a band in Spring 2016. He reached out to former Crimson black singer Darrin Lane and found that Darrin had a new project. After a jam session produced instant chemistry with drummer Mark Callis, the rhythm section of the band was born.
DARIN MULLER
Darin is the newest addition to the Darrin Lane Band, his excellent guitar playing is reminiscent and influenced by the great guitarists of the seventies classic rock bands and he brings that incomparable telecaster sound which is sure to leave the listeners wanting more.
